Features
Everything you came to Pinterest for. Nothing you didn't.
Clutter filters
Shopping pins, video pins and the “Popular on Pinterest” and “Shop the look” blocks are hidden too. Turn any of them back on in settings.
Learn moreKeyword filter
Hide any pin whose title or description contains words you choose, from spoilers to topics you're tired of.
Learn moreYour grid, your way
Pick how many columns the feed uses and how much space sits between pins. Preview and save full-size images.
Learn moreNo holes, no jumps
Ads vanish and your feed closes up.
Most blockers hide an ad and leave a blank hole behind. Feed Cleaner moves the pins below up to fill the space, so your feed looks like the ads were never there. Prefer things to stay put? Switch to a blank card, or swap the ad for a similar pin from your own feed.
- ✓ Hidden before they appear on screen, no flicker
- ✓ Home feed, search results and “More to explore” on pin pages
- ✓ A live count of what was cleaned, right in the toolbar

Feed Cleaner Pro
Shape Pinterest around what you love.
Free already takes the ads away. Pro gives you control over everything else, so every scroll is worth your time.
Hide AI-generated pins
Get back to ideas real people made.
Pro hides pins that Pinterest labels as AI-generated or AI-modified, so the recipes, rooms and outfits you save are ones someone actually cooked, built or wore.
- Uses Pinterest's own AI labels
- Strict mode also catches unlabelled pins that mention AI art tools
Keyword filter
Never see a topic you're done with.
Tired of spoilers, diet trends or wedding ideas long after the wedding? Add a word and every pin that mentions it disappears, on your home feed, in search and on pin pages.
- Matches pin titles and descriptions
- Up to 200 words, synced across your browsers
Full-size preview and HQ download
See every detail. Save the real thing.
Hover over a pin to see it full size without opening it or losing your place in the feed. When you love it, save the original image in one click instead of a blurry thumbnail.
- Preview on hover, or only while you hold Shift
- One-click download at original resolution
Custom columns and spacing
A feed that fits your screen.
See more ideas at once on a wide monitor, or fewer, bigger pins on a laptop. Pick the number of columns and how much space sits between pins, and the feed keeps it.
- Anywhere from 1 to 12 columns
- Spacing from edge-to-edge to airy

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Is Feed Cleaner really free?
Yes. Blocking ads, promoted pins, shopping pins, video pins and suggestion blocks is free and always will be, with no trial and no account. Feed Cleaner Pro is an optional upgrade for power-user tools like the keyword filter and custom columns.
How much does Feed Cleaner Pro cost?
$2.99 per month, $19.99 per year, $39 once. Payments and license keys are handled by Polar, and you can cancel a subscription anytime. Ad blocking stays free either way.
How do I block ads on Pinterest?
Install Feed Cleaner from the Chrome Web Store and open Pinterest. Ads, promoted pins, shopping pins, video pins and suggestion blocks disappear right away and the grid closes up, so there is nothing to set up. Open the extension's settings to bring any of them back.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Feed Cleaner works the moment you install it. Your settings are stored by your browser and sync between your own devices if you use browser sync.
Does Feed Cleaner collect my data?
No. Everything runs inside your browser. The extension has no analytics, tracking or advertising code, and it never sends your pins, searches or browsing history anywhere. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Which browsers does it work in?
Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and other Chromium browsers can install it from the Chrome Web Store. A Firefox version is on the way.
Does it work if Pinterest isn't in English?
Yes. Feed Cleaner recognises ads in more than 25 languages and works on Pinterest's country sites such as pinterest.de, pinterest.fr, pinterest.co.uk and pinterest.jp.
Will it slow Pinterest down?
No. Ads are hidden with a stylesheet before they appear on screen, and the extension only runs on Pinterest pages.
An ad slipped through. What should I do?
Pinterest changes its pages often. Use “Report a missed ad” in the extension and we'll update the filters, usually within a day. You get the fix automatically, without updating the extension.
I used “Pinterest Ads Blocker”. Is this the same extension?
Yes. Pinterest Ads Blocker is now Feed Cleaner for Pinterest. If you already have it installed, it updates by itself and keeps your settings.
Is Feed Cleaner made by Pinterest?
No. Feed Cleaner is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Pinterest.
