Hide AI pins

Pinterest, without the AI slop.

Feed Cleaner hides pins that Pinterest labels as AI-generated or AI-modified, on your home feed, in search and on pin pages. The recipes, rooms and outfits you see go back to ones real people cooked, built and wore.

  • Uses the AI labels Pinterest itself puts on pins
  • Works on the home feed, search results and pin pages, in every category
  • Strict mode also catches unlabeled pins that mention AI tools like Midjourney
  • Runs in your browser. Nothing about your pins is sent anywhere

How to set it up

  1. 1

    Install Feed Cleaner

Add it to Chrome, Firefox or Edge from your browser's store. Every Pro feature is unlocked for your first 3 days.

  2. 2

    Turn on AI-generated pins

Open Feed Cleaner from your toolbar and switch on “AI-generated pins”. Labeled AI pins disappear from Pinterest right away.

  3. 3

    Go strict if you like

In Settings, “Also catch unlabeled AI pins” looks for words like “midjourney” or “AI art” in a pin's text. It may hide a few real pins by mistake.

Questions, answered

Can you turn off AI on Pinterest?

Not completely. Pinterest's “Show AI content” setting reduces AI pins in certain categories, but it doesn't remove them, and pins Pinterest hasn't labeled still get through. Feed Cleaner hides every pin Pinterest labels as AI, in every category, on your computer.

How does Feed Cleaner know a pin is AI?

It reads the AI label Pinterest shows on the pin. With strict mode on, it also checks the pin's title and description for AI tool names and phrases. A pin with no label and no telltale words can still get through.

Does it work in the Pinterest app on my phone?

Not in the app itself, because phone apps do not allow extensions. On Android it works in Firefox for Android, and on iPhone and iPad in Orion. Our install guide has the steps for each.

How much does the AI filter cost?

It's part of Feed Cleaner Pro: $2.99 per month, $19.99 per year, $39 once. Your first 3 days are free with no card. Blocking ads stays free either way.
